Mr. Robert J. Klohr Sr.

Robert James Klohr Sr. "Bob, Pops" age, 69, of Westminster Robert James "Bob, Pops" Klohr, Sr., age 69, of Westminster, died suddenly on Saturday, April 21, 2012 in Winchester, VA. Born February 4, 1943, in Baltimore County, MD he was the son of the late James Adam and Hilda Louise Cunningham Klohr. He was the husband of Arna Y. "Ann" Klohr of Westminster, his spouse of 30 years. Bob had worked as a welder for most of his life. He had owned and operated Klohr's Repair Service, Randallstown for 45 years. He was a graduate of Milford Mill High School, Class of 1961. He served in the United States Army and retired as a First Sergeant with the Maryland Army National Guard. Bob was a dedicated scout leader and had been involved with the Boy Scouts of America for over 40 years. He was a member of the North-South Skirmish Association (N-SSA) since 1976 and a founder of Captain Simms Battalion Confederate Marines (CSMC) and a member of Freedom Lodge #112 A.F.&A.M Surviving in addition to his wife are sons and daughters-in-law: Lt. Col. Robert J. Klohr, Jr., United States Army, Ret. and Harmony Klohr of Portland, OR and Kirk M. and Robin Klohr of Oakhurst, NJ, sister and brother-in-law: Frann and Don Fischer of Cockeysville, grandchildren: Ryan and Casey Klohr of Oakhurst, NJ and Lorelei and Zinnia Klohr of Portland, OR, nephews: David and Mike Fischer and dear friends: Lt. Col. Robert M. Dixon, United States Army, Retired and Pauline Steinacker. He is also survived by many cousins. Friends may call at the Haight Funeral Home & Chapel (6416 Sykesville Road) Sykesville on Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 10 AM with Lt. Col. Robert M. Dixon, United States Army Ret. officiating. Interment will be in Deer Park Cemetery, Smallwood. Freedom Lodge #112 will hold a masonic memorial service at 7:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the James E.
