Mr. Paul Benjamin Olson

July 20, 1979 - January 18, 2022

Paul Benjamin Olson, age 42, of West Friendship, MD, passed away at home on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. Born on July 20, 1979, he was the beloved son of Paul and Stephanie Olson, and brother of Julie Taylor, Amy Pagnotta, Carrie Lodovici, and Jennifer Olson (predeceased). Paul was an accomplished plumber, having proudly obtained his Journeyman Plumber/Gas Fitter license. He enjoyed spending time with his large family and his dog, BamBam, playing basketball, cheering on his local sports teams, playing the guitar, and spending time outdoors. He was a vivacious, fun-loving, spiritual, and family-focused, young-at-heart man with a gentle soul - he will be greatly missed by all who had the fortune to know him and love him. He is survived by his parents, Paul and Stephanie Olson, and his sisters and brothers-in-law, Julie (Olson) and Robert Taylor, Amy (Olson) and Alex Pagnotta, Carrie (Olson) and Brian Lodovici. He was the much loved "Uncle Pauly" to his many nieces and nephews, Alex and Ali Pagnotta, Amanda (Pagnotta) and Doug Carpenter, Nick Lodovici, Anthony Pagnotta, Austin Pagnotta, Gabby Lodovici, Alayna Pagnotta, AJ Lodovici, Joe Lodovici, Sophie Lodovici, and Dylan Taylor, as well as his great-nieces and nephews, Aiden Carpenter, Karson (Lodovici) Rill, Adeline Carpenter, and Rocky Pagnotta. He was predeceased by his sister, Jennifer Olson, and his grandparents. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5) "The Lord is with me." A viewing will be held for those who knew him and his family, on Monday, January 24, 2022, from 12 - 2 pm at the Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville, MD, immediately followed by a graveside service at Mt.
