Mrs. Nancy Ruth Waters Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Nancy Ruth Waters , age 84, died Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Angel's Touch Assisted Living in West Friendship. Born February 13, 1937 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Ruth Harvey. She was the wife of the late Donald S. Waters, Sr. Nancy spent her career working at Francis Scott Key Middle School making a difference in the lives of children. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her 6 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was also a caregiver to many and always embraced the opportunity to help others. Her survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and David Furlough and Terri and Mark Dunsmore; son, Donald S. Waters, Jr.; grandchildren, Nancy Bolinger and husband Christian, David Furlough, Jr. and wife Maria, Kevin Furlough and wife Rachel, Jenny Goddard and husband Patrick, and Scott Dunsmore and wife Ashley; and great-grandchildren, Brandon and Carter Bolinger, Faith, David,III, Aaron and Sammy Furlough, Reno and Maxwell Furlough, William, Ryan and Luke Goddard, Kenni and Waylon Dunsmore. She was predeceased by her brother, Samuel Harvey; grandson, Kenny Dunsmore; and great-grandson, Gideon Furlough. A private family memorial service will be held in NC.
