Margaret Mary Coggins, age 82, of Sykesville, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021, at Homestead at Sun Valley. Born September 27, 1938, in Scranton, PA she was the daughter of the late James Peter Roberts and Mary Josephine O'Hara Roberts. She was the wife of the late Robert Francis Coggins who died in 1999. Margaret was a registered nurse for many years. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, watching football, collecting mice figurines and bourbon. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Linda M. and Dano Passaretti of Sykesville; sons and daughters-in-law Dan and Indera Coggins of Chesapeake Beach, MD and Gary and Julie Coggins of Stewartstown, PA; sisters: Roberta Novesl of St. Augustine, FL and Teresa Neureiter of Scranton, PA and grandchildren: Robert Coggins, Connor Coggins, Nathaniel Coggins and Gavin Coggins. Margaret was predeceased by two grandchildren: Giuseppe Roberto "Joe" Passeretti and Adriana Maria Passaretti and sister Nancy Roberts. Visitation and funeral services at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, Sykesville will be private. A public graveside service for family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 12noon at Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville.
