Mr. Frank H. Caloyro

December 5, 1924 - March 25, 2021

Frank H. Caloyro, age 96 of Taneytown, passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster. Born December 5, 1924 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Adolph Caloyro and the late Anna Haines Caloyro. He was the husband of the late Virginia Caloyro, who passed away in 2010. Frank was a proud U.S. Navy veteran and served in WWII. He was a tool and dye superintendent with Roper Eastern for 37 years. He and his wife loved being near the water and lived in Ocean City, MD, Florida and Myrtle Beach. Surviving are his sister Lois Johnston of Hagerstown, cousins Linda Gott of Benedict, MD, Nancy Shifler, Bonnie Hyde, and John T. Hyde III, all of Union Bridge, nieces Gail Johnston of Hagerstown, and Lori Yacucci of New Castle, DE, and nephews Craig Johnston of Fairfield, PA, and Scott Johnston of Hagerstown. He was predeceased by his cousin Lewis Hyde. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Rd., Sykesville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 am until the start of the service. Interment in Pipe Creek Cemetery, Union Bridge.
