Ms Emily Lenore Barnes

October 3, 1988 - March 19, 2022

With deepest sorrow, we make known that Emily Lenore Barnes, 33, of Westminster, Maryland, left this world unexpectedly while at her home, Friday, March 18, 2022. Born October 3, 1988 in Westminster, Maryland, she was the beloved daughter of Jeffery Albert Barnes and Marta Lee (Johnston) Barnes. She was the loving partner and fiancé of Nicholas (Nick) Anthony Venable. Emily was a caring and devoted mother, she is survived by her children, daughters, Audrey Michelle Lau and Rayna Mae Venable and son, Tucker James Venable. She leaves behind an older brother, Derek L. Barnes, and grandmother, Betty J. Johnston. In addition, she was adored and is survived by her aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins. Emily graduated from Century High School in 2006. She most recently worked as an Assistant teacher at Celebree School in Mt Airy, Maryland beginning in 2012 to present. Her smile and laugh were infectious. She seemed to always have something to laugh about. She was a genuinely warmhearted person to anyone she met. She loved crafting, gardening, her kitties and chickens, and spending time with family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all her family, friends and all who knew and loved her. When you think of Emily, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest. Please join us in celebrating her life on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel P.A., Eldersburg, Maryland. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 beginning at 11:00 am at the funeral home, Rev. Keith "Butch" Corrick officiating. Internment will be at Springfield Presbyterian Church, Sykesville, Maryland. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that a memorial contribution be made to the Humane Society of Carroll County, Maryland.
