Born In Grace: July 31, 1964 Departed In Glory: March 27, 2021 Doreen Viola Mason was born in Baltimore, MD at University of MD Hospital on July 31, 1964 to Hubert Otha Mason and Dorothy Viola Mason. She was educated in Carroll County Public Schools. She worked at Chapel Hill Nursing Home. She also worked as a Caregiver in the Nursing profession, she loved and cared for the elderly. She was known by many as Reeny. Doreen enjoyed music, drawing and singing. She had a love for the Lord Jesus Christ. Four years ago, Doreen joined The Redeem Seed Deliverance Kingdom Church under the Pastoral Leadership of Apostle Ann Brickhouse in Baltimore, MD. Where she was a member of the choir, oftentimes, singing solos and her favorite solos to sing were, “Never Alone” and “I Can Depend On God”. She loved to PRAISE THE LORD. She was affectionally known by Apostle Brickhouse as Precious Daughter and Precious. She was the life of every party and no one could out dance her. She was a true comedian and loved putting smiles on everyone’s face. To know her was to love her. She was a giver, always helping and giving to anyone in need especially family and friends. Doreen made the choice to be an an Organ Donor. Doreen will be greatly missed. If anyone ever had the pleasure of meeting and knowing her, she always made a loving and special impact on their lives. Doreen leaves to cherish her memory, the love of her life and beloved son, Troy Mason, mother, Dorothy Mason, brothers, Melville “Perry” Mason, Sr. and Hubert “Moe” Mason, Jr., a very special friend, Vera “Rennie” Rogers, a host of nephews, great-nephews/great-nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Hubert Mason, Sr. and brother, Kelvin Mason.
