Chaluay "Suwannee" Litaker

Chaluay "Suwannee" Litaker, age 72, left us the afternoon of Monday, January 24, 2022, in her home in Marriottsville, Md. A beautician by trade in Thailand, here Suwannee worked at House of Siam in Woodlawn, Bistro Sensations in Columbia Mall, and B & A Manufacturing in Columbia. Suwannee liked to cook, tend her flower and vegetable gardens, and loved playing cards with her friends. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband David, two daughters Kanchana and Melissa, four grandchildren Eden, Cyrene, Ryker, and Roman, sister Lampha, nieces Sarina and Krissy, brother and sister-in-law Dale and Julie, and nephew Alex. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday February 1, 2022, at Haight Funeral Home and Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville, Maryland.
