Carlton Louis Dorsey, Sr., age 66 of Eldersburg, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Bridginglife's Dove House. He was born July 26, 1955, in Montgomery County, MD to the late Leon Edward Dorsey, Sr. and Doris T. Hopkins Dorsey. He was predeceased by his wife Janice Dorsey. Carlton retired from the Howard County Public School System where he had been a custodian and grounds keeper. He loved his motorcycles and cars. He especially loved spending time with his family. He is survived by son Carlton L. Dorsey, Jr., daughter Stephanie Smith, uncle Frank Dorsey and aunt Mary Graham. He is also survived by a host of grandchildren. Carlton was predeceased by brothers Leon E. Dorsey, Jr. and Larry Ricardo Dorsey and a sister Barbara Smith. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 20, 2022, from 1:30 to 2:30pm at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville where a funeral service will follow at 2:30pm.
