In Loving Memory of Rosalind “Rosemary” Elaine Pavis (née Falbush) March 26, 1950 - December 21, 2025 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” - 2 Timothy 4:7 With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Rosalind “Rosemary” Elaine Pavis, a cherished wife, devoted mother, beloved sister, aunt, and treasured friend, who was called home to be with the Lord after a courageous and grace-filled battle with cancer. She entered into eternal peace on December 21, 2025, and now rests in the presence of her Savior, free from pain and sorrow. Born on March 26, 1950, in Baltimore, Maryland, Rosalind graduated from Patterson High School and began her career in a clerical role with the Baltimore City Police Department. She later joined TriFactor Consultants, Inc., an independent company founded by her husband, Thomas Pavis, a retired Baltimore City police detective and arson investigator. Rosalind played a key role in both the company’s formation and daily operations. Her precise proofreading, strong organizational skills, and financial expertise were instrumental to the company’s growth and long-term success. Rosalind’s life was defined by her deep faith in Christ. She found strength in scripture, peace in prayer, and hope in the promises of eternal life. Her gentle spirit, compassionate heart, and unwavering trust in God touched all who knew her. Whether through a kind word, a listening ear, or a warm smile, she reflected God’s love in everything she did. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Falbush, Sr. and Edna Yablonsky; her brother, Robert Falbush Jr.; her sisters, Helen Falbush and Edna Cavey; her father-in-law, Thomas Pavis, Sr.; and her brother-in-law, Gary Pavis. She is tenderly remembered by her loving husband, Thomas Pavis, Jr.; her devoted daughter, Laurie Olds; her compassionate son-in-law, Jeremy Olds; her brother, Michael Bebber; her sisters, Nancy and Ethel Mattes; and her sister-in-law, Terri Pavis. She is also fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews: Dawn Menefee, Patricia Day, Melissa (Robert) Faust, Scott (Kristi) Pavis, Jeffrey Pavis, Andrew Pavis, Catherine Pavis, Ethan Pavis, and Nathan Pavis. Visitation will be held at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville, on Monday, December 29, 2025, from 2:00PM to 4:00PM and from 6:00PM to 8:00PM. A service to celebrate Rosalind’s life will be held at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville, on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 2150 Mount View Road, Marriottsville, Maryland. Family and friends are warmly invited to gather in remembrance. Though we mourn her loss deeply, we find comfort in the blessed hope of Christ’s resurrection and the promise that we will one day be reunited in God’s eternal kingdom.
