Mr. Robert Wayne Tisone

Robert Wayne Tisone, age 67, of Sykesville, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. Born October 14, 1952, in Youngstown, OH, son of Nicholas and Rose Tisone, he grew up with his three brothers in an Italian family, so there were always a lot of pasta at every meal. He graduated in 1970 from Liberty High School and then 1974 from Youngstown State University. He met the love of his life, Mary Ann, in 1974 when he was her partner at a friend’s wedding. They married in 1976 and moved to Maryland the next year. Bob was an electrical engineer who started his career at Environmental Elements where he spent 25 years and made many friends. He then became CEO of Lurgi Lynches and eventually started his own business. Bob enjoyed cigars, golfing, and nice Scotch, and not necessarily in that order. He always loved to show people a good time and taking them to Da Mimmo’s or Ruth's Chris. He would tell you to order the Lamb Chop. He was an avid Ravens and Orioles fan and former Baltimore Colts fan. He loved being Italian including enjoying stereotypical movies like The Godfather and shows like the Sopranos. Robert is leaving behind his loving wife, Mary Ann; his daughter and son-in-law, Maria and Edward Goff; his daughter and son-in-law, Christina and Richard Bariletto; his father, Nicholas Tisone; three brothers, Nicholas, Richard, and Gregory Tisone; and his three granddaughters, Rachel Goff, Olivia Bariletto, and Mariana Bariletto; along with many cousins, nephews and nieces. He is also leaving his loving dogs Gracie and Snow Tisone. He is predeceased by his mother, Rose Tisone and father and mother-in-law John and Pricilla Callos. The family will be celebrating his life with viewing hours Wednesday, February 5 from 6 to 8 pm at Haight Funeral Home, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville, MD 21784 and funeral service Thursday, February 6 starting at 11am at St Joseph's Catholic Church, 915 Liberty Rd, Sykesville, MD 21784. Afterwards, we will be going to Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 2150 Mount View RD, Marriottsville, MD for the burial. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society - .
