Liam Moreland O'Connor, 27, of Sykesville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. He was born on December 31, 1997, in Washington, DC to John M. O'Connor and Barbara A. (Barzoloski) O'Connor. Liam was a graduate of Marriotts Ridge High School, Marriottsville. He had a passion for music and skateboarding. Liam was currently teaching music with Sound Check Rock Academy. When he was not teaching, listening to, or playing music, he could be found skateboarding, painting, or photographing nature. Surviving in addition to his parents are grand-father Lawrence Barzoloski and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The following is quoted from voxnews.com. In honor of Liam’s life and the positive impact he had on others, family and friends will gather to share time to celebrate Liam's life beginning at 1pm on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at The Local Motive, 7540 Main Street in Sykesville. Due to the weather the original celebration at the Skatepark/Shrimptown at South Branch Park, 350 West Friendship Road, Sykesville will be rescheduled. Please check back to this website for updates.
