Josephine R. Nacewicz Age 81 of Eldersburg Josephine Anna Rapp Nacewicz, 81 of Eldersburg, died Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster. Born November 29, 1928 in South Berne, NY, she was the daughter of the late William and Anna Mayrhofer Rapp. She was the wife of Richard Nacewicz of Eldersburg, her husband of 53 years. She had been a homemaker for most of her life. She was a manager at the National Society for Autistic Children Bookstore and was on the Board of Directors at the Linwood Children’s Center in Ellicott City. Surviving in addition to her husband are sons and daughter-in-law Mark and Carolyn Nacewicz, and Matthew Nacewicz, all of Eldersburg, daughters and sons-in-law Mary and Paul Gunther of Germantown, and Martha and David Campion of Bel Air, brothers Edward Rapp and Joseph Walter Rapp, both of the Albany-Schenectady area of New York, sister Helen Rafferty of Slingerlands, NY, grandchildren William, Heather, Julie, Lauren, Don, Joe, and Sharon, and great grandchildren Sarah and Emma. A memorial service will be held on Friday at 7pm at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville. Interment private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 4pm until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Linwood Center, Inc., (a center for autistic children and adults), 3421 Martha Bush Dr., Ellicott City, MD 21043.
