Mr. Floyd Curtis Heath Jr.

Floyd Curtis Heath, Jr. passed away at his home on Saturday August 27,2022 next to his two dogs that he loved and adored. Curtis was born March 23,1963, in Montgomery County, MD to Floyd Curtis Heath (Jabo) and Hazel Wilder Heath Standifer. Curtis grew up in Carroll County, MD until he moved to Frederick County MD in 1997. In 2007 he and his family moved to Hampshire County, West Virginia. Curtis lived the remainder of his life in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia. Curtis made lots of friends and lasting impressions during his journey of this life. For most of Curtis life he was a Mason. While being very talented at laying brick, he also owned his own masonry company named C&S Masonry, after his two children. Curtis enjoyed fishing, hunting and being around friends. He would host family reunions, crab feasts and butchering pigs. He was the life of the party. Curtis also loved just sitting out by his garden and enjoying the scenery. Curtis was greeted in heaven by his mother (Hazel) who passed in 2021 and his father (Jabo) who passed in 1968. Curtis has been waiting a long time for the day to come when he could finally see his daddy again. He now has that opportunity to hug the man he loved so much but had very few memories of. Curtis came from a very large and loving family. He will be missed by his two children. A son, Floyd Heath III, wife Brandi Heath and a daughter, Shannon (Heath) Fay, husband Jeffrey Fay. His four grandchildren, Floyd Heath IV, Connor Heath, Ryadon Fay and Lana Heath. Including two adopted grandchildren Chelsie Fay and Eli Fay. Curtis is also survived and will be missed by his three sisters, Thelma (Shawn) Ridgley, husband Timothy Ridgley, Marylee Keppler, husband Kip Keppler and Shelia Standifer, husband Ronald Standifer. Curtis also had many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles who will miss him dearly. As well as the many friends he’s made over the years. He is with his heavily father and his biological father that he could not wait to see again. Absent from the body is present with lord. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 1, 2022, from 10 AM to 11 AM at Haight Funeral Home & Chapel, 6416 Sykesville Road, Sykesville, MD where a funeral service will follow at 11 AM.
